Festival Guide

Answers to the questions first-time visitors ask most.

  • What is The K-Festa?

A guide that gathers festivals and performances held across Korea in one place. Find festivals on today, this weekend and coming up by theme, calendar and map, with dates, places, fees and contacts.

  • Where does the information come from, and how often is it updated?

We refresh public data such as the Korea Tourism Organization's TourAPI and the Korea Culture Information Service every morning. Finished festivals come down, and missing contacts or hours are filled in from official websites and notices.

  • How do I see only festivals happening right now?

Use Festivals Today on the home page, or choose “On now” in Find Festivals. Festivals on their last day carry an “Ends today” stamp.

  • Can I see festivals in one region only?

Choose a province on the Festival Map to zoom in and list only that region's festivals with numbers. You can also filter by region in Find Festivals.

  • What if fees or dates change?

Organizers may change details. Please check the official website or contact on the festival page before you go. Tell us about anything wrong by email from the List Your Festival page and we will fix it.

  • Is the site available in English?

Tap EN at the top right. Festival names, places, fees and introductions are being translated, and anything not yet translated appears in Korean.
