Unjeong Lake Park Fireworks Festival

About the festival

The Unjeong Lake Park Fireworks Festival began in 2017 as a festival started by residents and, except during the COVID-19 pandemic, has lit up Paju's autumn nights every year as a leading local festival. This year marks the 8th edition in 2026, with the theme "Light, Again," and it takes place on October 31 around Unjeong Lake Park. On the day of the festival, street art performances and experience booths run from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and a lighting ceremony and fireworks show take place at 7:30 p.m. Along with the fireworks, a special firebird display is planned around Sorichoen Stream. In addition, a light garden will operate from the festival day through December 31, presenting a light-based landscape from autumn to year-end. The Unjeong Lake Park Fireworks Festival is hosted by Paju City and organized by the Paju Cultural Foundation.
