MATERIALISM | A Bjarke Ingels Group Exhibition

About the festival

Korea's first exhibition devoted to the internationally renowned architecture firm BIG is being held at the Seoul Hall of Urbanism & Architecture. BIG founder Bjarke Ingels is known for an architectural style that is distinctive and experimental while considering users' needs and experiences. Offering a glimpse of his creativity, the exhibition features displays and models organized around ten architectural materials, including stone, earth, concrete, metal and wood. Visitors can explore architecture's past and present as envisioned by BIG and consider directions for sustainable urban architecture in the future. In addition to the exhibition, public programs on future urban architecture are planned, including a special lecture by BIG founder Bjarke Ingels.
