About the festival
The regular performance of the Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe has been one of Anseong’s signature cultural attractions since 2003. The 2026 show “Gombaengi Teotda”, subtitled “The Market’s Joy Shakes Gyeongbokgung”, reworks the six core acts of namsadang folk entertainment with a modern touch. It runs about 90 minutes every Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Anseong Namsadang Theater, featuring lively pungmul with taepyeongso and kkwaenggwari, eoreum tightrope walking and banter three meters up, beona plate spinning and salpan acrobatics.
