About the festival
Festival Gwangmyeong fills the streets of Gwangmyeong with music, culture and festive energy. This year the main stage “GM Live” features 11 acts: singer-songwriter 10CM headlines on the 3rd with Daybreak, Jack King Kong, Asrai and Asadal, and rock legend Kim Jong-seo leads the 4th with Romantic Punch, Bulnabang Star Sausage Club, Shin Hyun-hee Band, Cactus and Luamel. An eight-lane road closed to traffic becomes a street plaza with random play dance, street karaoke, bubble shows, stilt clowns and statue mime, plus games about Gwangmyeong’s nine scenic spots, a citizens’ parade, social economy and civic group booths and youth busking.
