About the festival
The 2026 National Theater of Korea Backstage Festival runs at the National Theater’s Stage Art Support Center so that citizens can easily enjoy performing arts in daily life. It takes place on the second and fourth Saturday of every month, and all performances are free. Shows are held at the experience theater “Ssok” on the first floor. Tickets are handed out first come, first served at the on-site desk from noon on the day and may run out early depending on seating. The lineup features dynamic, accessible stages for all ages, with artists presenting their own styles across popular genres.
