About the festival
The Jeonju International Picture Book Fair (JIPF) is Korea’s leading picture book festival, connecting with the world through picture books as global content. Each year you can see original artwork by renowned Korean and international illustrators up close, with a guest country’s leading illustrator featured. The 5th fair features Jimmy Liao of Taiwan and Kim Dong-seong of Korea and runs from October 2 to 4, 2026 at the Sori Arts Center exhibition hall under the theme “Picturing the Memories”. There are book exhibitions, talks, a book market with publishers, an emerging local artists’ exhibition, performances, activities and a conference, and the original artwork exhibition continues until October 25.
