About the festival

The 2026 Gyeonggi Ceramic Biennale, hosted by the Korea Ceramic Foundation, is Korea’s leading international ceramic arts event, held from September 18 to November 1, 2026 in Icheon, Yeoju and Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do. Under the theme “Earth Makes”, it presents new possibilities of ceramics created by earth, nature, technology and art. Alongside international exhibitions, a competition, academic programs and workshops, there are a Kids Biennale, hands-on programs, a craft festa, a ceramic market and outreach events, so residents, artists and visitors can enjoy ceramic culture across Gyeonggi-do.
