About the festival
A flower festa takes place on Jaraseom Island, Gapyeong, from September 12 to October 5, 2026. Admire colorful autumn flowers and enjoy busking and local artist performances on weekends and holidays, plus balloon art and other activities for kids, local farm product stalls and snack booths. Of the KRW 7,000 admission, KRW 5,000 is refunded in local currency usable at festival booths and local restaurants and cafés. Boat rides along the Bukhangang River and an electric shuttle from the island entrance are also available, and ticket holders get discounts at major attractions and shops.
