About the festival
“House of an Upright Official, Lighting Up Today” is a traditional culture event at the head house of Ori Yi Won-ik and Gwangamdang (Chunghyeon Museum). Themed on the honest life of Yi Won-ik, one of Joseon’s model upright officials, and Gwangamdang, a gift from King Injo, it offers a play, mulberry dyeing and hands-on exploration for children and families. It is held on September 5 and 19, October 17 and November 7. See the official website for details and reservations.
