About the festival

The Suncheon Ollangga One-Day Market will take place along Byeolmi-gil in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, on November 14, 2026, to help revitalize the old downtown shopping district and celebrate the opening of new shops from the third Local Hope Entrepreneurship cohort. The event introduces visitors to the old downtown shopping streets and new businesses, encouraging them to shop locally. Food promotion zones will feature the local merchants' association and teams from various countries, alongside busking, spoon-percussion performances and performances by international participants. Visitors can also take part in an online stamp tour with missions at downtown shops, a cashback event awarding Suncheon Love Gift Certificates based on purchase amounts, a mystery-box air-ball draw, a QR-code treasure hunt at new businesses and a lucky draw. Hands-on activities include making dalgona candy and four-leaf-clover key rings, decorating pens and writing time-capsule letters. The event runs from 11:00 to 18:00, combining a tour of the old downtown shopping district with local food, performances and hands-on activities.
