About the festival

The 2026 Yeongju Apple Festival is an autumn celebration that engages all five senses with premium apples grown in Yeongju's clear natural environment. This year's festival shares the flavor and appeal of Yeongju apples both at their place of origin and in the city. It takes place around Miro Park in Buseok-myeon from October 30 to November 1, with another event at Cheonggye Plaza in Seoul from November 13 to 15. Yeongju apples are known for their sweetness and crisp texture, nurtured by abundant sunshine and large day-to-night temperature differences. The festival offers hands-on programs, displays of various apple varieties, and an apple market, alongside tastings and cultural performances. Visitors can also enjoy the autumn scenery and nearby Buseoksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Fresh produce straight from the orchards, performances, and events come together in a harvest celebration for all ages. The festival offers an opportunity to experience Yeongju's autumn scenery, premium apples, and a wide range of activities both in the region and in central Seoul.
