About the festival

The 13th 21st Century Humanities Value Forum is a humanities and cultural event held for three days around the Andong International Convention Center and Andong city under the theme 'A Shaking World, What Does Not Change'. It opens with a keynote speech at the opening ceremony and the Humanities Value Awards, and closes with the proclamation of the Andong Declaration at the closing ceremony. Along with thematic, public, and participatory sessions with scholars from Korea and abroad and citizens, it is designed so that visitors can see, walk, and interact in person and feel humanities values through exhibitions, experience programs, tours, and networking events. Having expanded Korea's traditional culture into universal values of today over the past decade or so, this year the event shares contemporary topics such as war and peace, memory and records, and AI and technology, and is held both online and offline with about 5,000 participants.
