About the festival

Korea Grand Festival is the first nationwide consumption festival to bring together discount events and consumer-spending initiatives, including gift certificates and coupons, previously run separately by government bodies. These include Korea Sale Festa (Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy), the Accommodation Sale Festa (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), Donghaeng Festival (Ministry of SMEs and Startups), agricultural and livestock product discounts (Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs), seafood discounts (Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries), postal shopping promotions (Ministry of Science and ICT), and Korea Duty Free Festa (Korea Customs Service). Government ministries, local governments, retailers, traditional markets, small and medium-sized businesses, and small merchants take part, offering discounts, shopping benefits, travel and cultural content across the country. Visitors can discover a wide range of activities, from shopping and food to traditional markets, local tourism and travel, while exploring distinctive experiences in different regions.
