About the festival
The Daejeon Noodle Festival is a signature Daejeon food festival hosted by Daejeon Ilbo and supported by Daejeon Metropolitan City. Planned to develop new tourism resources for Daejeon, it brings together a variety of noodle dishes, from kalguksu, for which the city is renowned on a national scale, to original flavors passed down through generations. This year’s festival features a Global Noodle Zone offering noodle dishes from around the world, a Noodle Master Competition showcasing creative efforts by local culinary students, a pavilion revisiting themes from previous noodle festivals, Star Chef Cooking Shows by well-known chefs, and a range of programs for everyone to enjoy.
