About the festival

The 17th Yuseong Chrysanthemum Festival, a signature autumn festival of Yuseong-gu chosen as a representative Daejeon festival since 2022, runs for 16 days from October 17 to November 1 at Yurim Park. Enjoy exhibitions, activities and performances combining the beauty of chrysanthemums with Yuseong’s identity as a science city. This year Hanbit Tower, the city’s symbol, is recreated in chrysanthemums, the aster garden extends to Yuseongcheon Stream and cosmos paths line the walks. Try a drawing caricature robot, terrariums, woodworking and chrysanthemum crafts, enjoy local university and artist performances and, at night, moonlight busking, a candle garden concert, wish lanterns and a chrysanthemum cinema.
