Dongducheon Book Culture Festival

About the festival

The Dongducheon Book Culture Festival is a cultural festival where all citizens enjoy and communicate through books and reading. A variety of programs for the whole family are offered, including a guest lecture by Dr. Im Yeong-ju, performances by a wind orchestra, the Dongducheon City Chorus and a magic bubble show, a children's reading golden bell quiz, and human book experience booths run by local workshops. At the book market, run with local bookstores and publishers, visitors can also enjoy meeting books from many fields in person and discovering new ones. Adding culture and activities to the joy of reading, it offers a special day for everyone from children to adults to take part comfortably and get closer to books.
