About the festival
The 2026 Korea Science Festival with Jeonbuk Science Festival lets residents experience physical AI, Jeonbuk’s future industry, firsthand. It runs for three days from October 16 to 18 at the main field and Harim Mission Hall of Jeonju University under the theme “A Moving World: A New Future Opened by Physical AI”, presenting AI not just on screens but in robots and sensors working in the real world. National science museums, leading research institutes and universities take part, and research in AI, bio, energy and mobility is offered as hands-on content for children, youth and adults, with booths run by local schools. Programs include the opening ceremony, the Jeonbuk science awards and student invention awards, themed exhibitions and science activities and performances.
