About the festival
The 2026 Jinan Highland Forestival is a forest culture event held on October 10 and 11, 2026 around the National Jinan Highland Forest Healing Center, hosted by the Korea Forest Service, Jeonbuk State and Jinan-gun. The program is a non-competitive trail run with 16K and 6K courses: the 16K course is 16.9 km with over 1,071 m of elevation gain and a 6-hour limit, and the 6K course is 6 km with over 315 m of gain and a 3-hour limit. Runners can also enjoy forest healing, forest culture activities and a local market, with 500 participants planned each day.
