About the festival
Marking its 7th year, the Yangpyeong Chive Festival is a resident-led festival promoting the premium chives of Yangdong-myeon, Korea’s top chive region, and Yangpyeong’s quality farm products, run together by local schools, farmers and residents. Themed “A festival full of flavor, fun and happiness”, the 2026 festival offers fresh produce and many foods and activities. Try the signature chive gukbap, chive rice cakes, chive noodles and chive makgeolli, plant chives in pots, trim chives and enjoy games for the whole family.
