About the festival
First held in 2015 to promote premium ginseng grown in Icheon, one of Korea’s largest ginseng regions, the festival was renamed the Icheon Ginseng Health Festival in 2025 to become the capital area’s top ginseng and health festival. Amid autumn scenery, visitors can see and buy fragrant, high-quality Icheon ginseng at good prices and enjoy a ginseng fair, ginseng kimchi making and ginseng foot baths, along with guest singer performances and a ginseng auction. Taste healthy dishes made with fresh ginseng, such as ginseng fritters and ginseng makgeolli.
