About the festival
The 2026 Pohang Sunrise Noodle Festival is a big food festival at Ara Plaza in Guryongpo on the Homi Peninsula, where the sun rises first in Korea. The name evokes the sun rising over the horizon and the joy of lifting chewy noodles and sipping rich broth. Taste Pohang’s best noodle restaurants, signature noodles from every province, global noodles and star chefs’ recipes, with a music festa for all ages, a cooking contest and retro activities. Smart QR ordering and reusable dishes make it an eco-friendly food trip by the blue East Sea.
