About the festival
Seoul Metropolitan Government holds the 4th 2026 Seoul Hanok Week for ten days from October 2 to 11 around Bukchon and Seochon. The festival lets visitors experience Seoul’s hanok through exhibitions, talks and tours, activities, performances and events organized with hanok institutions, groups and residents in Bukchon, Seochon and public hanok across Seoul; details are on the Seoul Hanok Portal and social media. New this year is a K-living exhibition in collaboration with brands, and the festival links with Bukchon Day and partner programs. Under the theme “Everyday Life in Seoul Hanok”, it shows hanok as a living space beyond tourism.
