About the festival
“Deoksugung Seokjojeon at Night” is an evening program featuring a guided night tour of Seokjojeon Hall, a terrace café experience where you enjoy gabae (coffee), King Gojong’s favorite, and desserts with live classical music, and a musical about the Korean Empire’s imperial family. Launched as a pilot in 2021 and held officially since 2022 thanks to strong demand, it now runs twice a year. Led by court guides, you travel back in time to Seokjojeon and take home memories with vintage-prop photos and souvenirs.
