About the festival
Gyeongbokgung Starlight Night Tour is an evening program exploring the northern part of Gyeongbokgung with royal cuisine and traditional culture. Guided by experts, you move around the palace learning about royal life and the palace’s history, and at the Oesojubang royal kitchen you enjoy a special 12-dish royal table reinterpreted as a modern lunchbox. This year a special changgeuk opera about the king is staged at Jibokjae, King Gojong’s library, and you can admire the starlight reflected in Hyangwonji Pond in the palace’s quiet night scenery.
