About the festival

<Dance of Revolution> boldly departs from the usual narrative structure of traditional theater and is composed of eight independent scenes. Each scene merely shines a light on fragmentary moments one might encounter in the midst of a revolution and is not tied together by cause and effect. Yet the dialogue, sounds, objects, and light repeated insistently on stage, along with the actors' precise movements, bring the inner structure of the work to the surface. Through these repeated patterns, the audience senses that the scenes are organically connected on a level beyond the story, and encounters a new experience in which the horizon of theater expands.
