If you want to fall for the charm of dumplings this autumn, head to Wonju! The 2026 Wonju Dumpling Festival takes place from October 23 to 25 around Wonjucheon Stream and Culture Street in Wonju-si. Under the slogan "A Round at the Market, Joyful Dumplings!", this special autumn festival brings together tasty dumplings, the lively atmosphere of a traditional market, and a variety of performances and activities. There is plenty to enjoy, from the Global Dumpling Zone featuring unusual dumplings from around the world and the Wonju Dumpling Zone to exciting participation programs such as fast dumpling-making and dumpling tower stacking. Celebratory performances by popular singers, a live cooking show by Chef Jung Ji-sun, known as the "Queen of Dim Sum," and the Wonjucheon Nakhwa-nori fire show raise the excitement even further. Tours around the traditional market, cultural and arts activities, and a flea market are also offered. A bite of delicious dumplings, a lively performance, and plenty of special memories!
