About the festival

The 2026 Jeongseon National Heritage Night Tour, "Jeongseon National Heritage Walking Night Museum," is a nighttime cultural event that links the national heritage sites and cultural facilities around Jeongseon-eup on a walking route. Centered on heritage such as Jeongseon Arirang, Sangyujae Old House in Jeongseon, the Mulberry Tree in Bongyang-ri, Jeongseon Hyanggyo, and the Jurassic Conglomerate of Bongyang-ri, the program combines performances, exhibitions, hands-on activities, guided commentary, and local food. Visitors walk through the national heritage sites, the alleys of Jeongseon, the traditional market, and cultural spaces. It runs 16 programs across eight night themes: night views, night walks, night stories, night history, night flowers, night markets, night food, and night stays. It takes place around Jeongseon-eup from October 16 to 18, 2026.
