About the festival
The 2026 Gangdong Windflower Festival × 17th Gangdong Book Festival is a cultural festival themed "Read, Drink, Make Art," bringing together books and art, music and performances, exhibitions and local content in one place. In "Text Hip," featuring meetings with authors Kim Ae-ran and Seong Hae-na and independent publishers, local bookstores and authors, visitors can discover new stories and connect through books, and in "Art Hip," made up of a vinyl DJ, various performances and experiences with local artists, they can experience art close to everyday life. In addition, 22 cafes, bakeries and dessert spots in Gangdong-gu join in, making this a special festival where books, culture and local flavors come together.
