Happy Animals Festa

About the festival

The 2026 Seoul Animal Happiness Festa is a participatory festival marking Seoul Animal Protection Day, sharing a culture in which people and animals live together. It is held October 17–18 on the plaza in front of the Mulbit Stage at Yeouido Hangang Park, with programs for pet owners, non-owners and families. Programs include the 'Animal Happiness Run,' where dogs and owners walk along the Han River; 'Seol Chae-hyun's Pet Talk Live'; a 'Dog's Second Life' showcase contest; and a red-carpet adoption event introducing animals waiting for new families. There is also an 'Animal Protection PLAY Zone' that explores animal welfare issues (wild, farm, laboratory, service and exhibition animals) through games and missions, plus behavior and health consultations, pet registration, an adoption campaign, a pet-culture OX quiz and photo zones.
