About the festival

Food information is from the 2025 festival and is being updated for 2026. The 2026 Mokpo Port Festival runs for three days from October 16 to 18 around Mokpo Port and Samhakdo Island. Centered on a traditional fish market re-creating the joy of a full catch and lively seafood auctions, and a modern market recreating the shops, streets and life of the old pier, it lets you travel through the history and culture of Mokpo Port. Watch fishing boats return in “Pasi, Full Catch!”, an exciting auction show and retro pier streets, and enjoy seasonal Mokpo seafood, family activities and performances.
