About the festival

The Gwangju Seochang Silver Grass Festival, a signature nature healing festival in the south, offers performances, activities, a sunset run and unique photo zones among natural silver grass along the Yeongsangang River. Walk the silver grass paths and enjoy the sunset over the Seochang fields, one of Seo-gu’s eight scenic views, at the only nature festival in a southern city. Programs turn walking and sound into experiences, such as a melody path, the SG Silver Grass Lounge with LP music, soundscapes and sound walk maps, plus events like a rest champion contest and a dog run. It runs for four days from October 15 to 18 under the theme “An Autumn Walk Brought by Silver Grass”.
