About the festival
Now in its 8th year, the Yecheon International Smartphone Film Festival accepts films and videos shot on smartphones, selects winners through judging and holds an awards ceremony on site on October 9, a film festival residents can enjoy too. Launched in 2019 in Yecheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, a city of pristine nature, YISFF has become a leading smartphone film festival nationwide, bringing a fresh wind by letting anyone make films with the smartphone they already own.
