About the festival

In the season when the cool autumn breeze blows, the 3rd Garak Oktoberfest, the signature autumn festival of Garak Market, is finally about to begin. At Garak Mall, filled with delicious food, refreshing craft beer and emotional attractions, visitors can enjoy the romance of an autumn night. The event runs for three days from Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18, 2026, every day from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Sky Park on the 3rd floor of Garak Mall. Admission is entirely free, and visitors freely use the beer and snack booths they like. There are three key highlights. First, leading craft breweries from across the country gather in one place, with the joy of choosing to taste according to preference, from light and refreshing lagers to richly flavored ales and fruity beers. Second, 'special snack booths' with the freshness of Garak Market open. High-quality dishes cooked on the spot with fresh seasonal ingredients by Garak Mall merchants, from savory butter-grilled abalone to chicken that pairs wonderfully with beer, are prepared. Third, there are plenty of exciting sights and activities: starting with a colorful parade on the first day that opens the festival, there are emotional busking performances, the citizen-participation game 'Garak Orakgwan' and a lavish prize draw. Getting there is also very convenient. The Sky Park is directly connected to Exit 2-1 of Garak Market Station on Subway Lines 3 and 8, so it is easy to reach by public transportation. The Sky Park has an open-air 'banquet seating' area, ideal for the unique mood of an autumn outdoor night. Since the wind can get chilly after sunset, bringing a light jacket is recommended.
