The Daejeon Hyo (Filial Piety) Culture Roots Festival is Jung-gu’s signature festival, centered on “roots”, a time to reflect on your origins, family, generations and tradition. Learn about the origins of family names, clan histories and the footsteps of ancestors, and meet your roots through traditional culture and hands-on programs. Generations come together at Ppuri Park to enjoy nature, performances and activities and rediscover the value of the roots that made us.
