About the festival

The 2026 National Heritage Media Art: Cheorwon Labor Party Office is a night arts event that reinterprets the history and sense of place of the former Labor Party office and Cheorwon History and Culture Park, which bear witness to the Korean War and division. Under the theme “Peace Rising: From Memory to Empathy, Beyond Healing to the Future”, it expresses memories of the past in light and images. Programs include a media facade on the building’s walls, interactive media, AR experiences, light installations, AI media art, citizen content and performances, including “Pro PACE: For Peace” by media artist Jan Ngema. Closed on Tuesdays and on Chuseok, September 25. Docent tours, special performances and activities are offered.
