About the festival

The 31st Hongseong Namdanghang Port Giant Shrimp Festival is Hongseong’s signature autumn food festival, featuring the clean waters of Cheonsu Bay and fresh seasonal shrimp. At Namdang Port, a top seafood destination on the west coast, you can taste plump in-season shrimp and enjoy performances against beautiful sea views. The 2026 festival runs from September 4 to November 8, with opening concerts on September 4 to 6 and Chuseok concerts on September 25 and 26 featuring Bin Ye-seo, Park Hyun-bin and others. Besides shrimp, Namdang Port offers gizzard shad and other seafood, and the west coast sunset makes it a perfect outing for families, couples and friends.
