About the festival

The 2026 6th Jeju Environmental Education Festival is a comprehensive environmental education event hosted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and organized by the Jeju Environmental Education Center. It takes place around Jeju Venture Maru, the Jeju Business Agency and Suun Neighborhood Park on October 30–31, 2026. A special lecture is scheduled for October 30, followed by a guest lecture and environmental learning activities on October 31. The event is free and open to Jeju residents and anyone interested in environmental education. Programs include environmental learning activities, themed hands-on booths, exhibitions and a photo zone where visitors can pledge practical action. The Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education and 22 member organizations of the Jeju Environmental Education Network are involved in joint planning and operation alongside the host and organizer. The festival aims to promote environmental education in the region and develop residents’ environmental awareness. Through field experiences and programs, it provides a space to share the importance of environmental conservation and ways to practice sustainability in daily life.
