About the festival

The Uijoeun Hyeongje (Good Brothers) Festival is a family participation cultural festival that reinterprets the values of brotherly love, sharing, and consideration for modern times, based on the Good Brothers folktale handed down in Daeheung-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. It runs experience programs using the Good Brothers fairy-tale storytelling, as well as traditional games, family participation events, cultural performances, and a local food and agricultural specialty market, and is organized so that people of all ages can experience the region's history and culture and understand the value of community through its programs. Near the festival site are Yesan-gun's signature tourist facilities such as the Yedang Reservoir Suspension Bridge and the Yedang Reservoir monorail, making it Yesan-gun's signature culture and tourism festival where you can experience local culture and tourism together.
