*The food information below is from last year's (2025) festival; the 2026 festival information is being updated.* The Gimhae Buncheong Ceramics Festival is a ceramic culture festival held in Gimhae, a representative production site of early Joseon buncheong ware, and is Gimhae's signature festival that carries on the value of traditional ceramic culture and reinterprets it for today. Now in its 31st year, the Gimhae Buncheong Ceramics Festival is composed of various programs such as exhibitions and sales of works, pottery-making experiences, and pottery demonstrations so that visitors can see the unique beauty and artistry of Gimhae buncheong ceramics up close. In particular, you can view distinctive works by local potters in one place, and through experience programs where visitors handle clay and make pottery themselves, the charm of buncheong ceramics can be experienced more easily and enjoyably. It is also a participatory arts festival offering experiences, performances, and events for children and families, with programs everyone of any age can enjoy, so that traditional ceramic culture can continue as part of daily life.
