About the festival

The 2026 Eobu Jangteo x Port Village Tongyeong is a local food festival presented in collaboration between the Tongyeong Eobu Jangteo and Port Village, a harbor food festival. Held for three days from November 6 to November 8, 2026, at Triathlon Plaza in Donam-dong, Tongyeong, it presents various menus using Tongyeong's signature seafood and local food. The main participation categories consist of general food booths, performance booths, and chef consulting booths. General food booths serve menus using Tongyeong's signature ingredients and food such as oysters, eel, sea squirts, and red sea bream. Performance booths offer on-site cooking, menu presentation, and customer participation, providing the cooking process and spectacle together, and chef consulting booths develop menus with famous chefs using Tongyeong's signature food. The festival uses Tongyeong's sea and cuisine as local content and gives local brands and producers a chance to meet visitors. Its main direction is also to link promotion, content, and brand results before and after the festival so that it operates as a platform connected to Tongyeong's tourism and local brand rather than a one-off event.
