The 205 Chilgok Culture Street Festa is a street festival held on Road No. 1 near Waegwan Station in Chilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. "205" carries the meaning that the site is 20 minutes from Daegu by train and a 5-minute walk from Waegwan Station, where visitors can relax by the naturally blessed Nakdong River; it symbolizes a street festival that anyone can visit without pressure and enjoy the festive atmosphere of diverse cultures together. During the festival, parades, performances, and exhibitions take place along the street in front of Waegwan Station, along with a variety of experience programs that give visitors plenty to enjoy. In particular, local artists, residents, the merchants' association, and local organizations take part in planning and running the festival together, making it a resident-participation street festival where the community and visitors come together.
