About the festival

The side programs of the 2026 Korea Maritime Mobility & Safety Expo are experience programs designed to let people experience the importance of maritime safety in an easy and fun way. Around Busan Port North Port Waterfront Park, various maritime safety experiences and participatory content are offered, giving citizens and tourists visiting the expo an opportunity to raise interest in and understanding of maritime safety. It consists of programs anyone can easily join, such as an AI-powered personal maritime photo zone, a life jacket OOTD runway where you decorate and try on life jackets, CPR learning, and trying on a Coast Guard uniform. You can also pilot a ship yourself through a ship-handling simulation and virtually experience various maritime safety situations such as falling overboard and passenger ship emergencies in the maritime VR experience hall. There are also programs where you learn the correct use of actual life-saving equipment such as life jackets and life rafts, and naturally learn safety rules through a maritime safety quiz. A stamp tour linking the BPEX exhibition hall and the content of North Port Waterfront Park is also run. It is a program where you can look at future ships and autonomous navigation technology, eco-friendly maritime technology, and maritime safety and AI technology, and take part in experience programs to experience the expo's main content all at once. It is a special experience venue where you meet future maritime technology and experience maritime safety firsthand.
