About the festival
The 23rd Buyeo Chrysanthemum Festival unfolds splendidly for 10 days from October 30 to November 8, 2026, around Gungnamji Pond, a signature attraction of Buyeo. Under the theme "Assembling the Pieces of Autumn with Chrysanthemums," it offers a special time where the beauty of chrysanthemums meets the history and culture of Baekje. The festival grounds are divided into five themed spaces: Pieces of History, Pieces of Scenery, Pieces of Fate, Pieces of Fragrance, and Pieces of Healing. Many chrysanthemum installations that can only be seen in Buyeo, such as the Gilt-bronze Incense Burner and the Sabimun Gate, are on display alongside various chrysanthemum-themed works. There are also promotional and sales booths, food trucks, and chrysanthemum-related activities, offering plenty to see and do.
