About the festival

MAMF is the largest multicultural festival in Korea, designed so that migrants and Korean nationals living in the country can respect cultural diversity and understand one another's cultures. Held in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, it lets visitors experience and watch the diverse cultures of countries around the world in many ways. The program includes an opening ceremony and celebratory performance, a special cultural performance by the guest country's art troupe, a multicultural parade, a world music festival, the Korea Migrants' Song Festival, and world culture experience booths, so visitors can see and feel world cultures firsthand over three days. The 2026 guest country is Uzbekistan, which will present traditional performances by its national art troupe and its distinctive culture.
