Yecheon Bow Festival

About the festival

Held in Yecheon, Korea's representative home of archery, the Yecheon Bow Festival is a festival where people of all ages can try and enjoy various forms of archery based on Yecheon's bow culture and traditions. The 2026 Yecheon Bow Festival takes place for three days, from October 30 to November 1, around Hancheon Sports Park. It offers archery experiences with both Olympic-style archery and traditional Korean archery, as well as various hands-on programs that add fun and challenge to shooting. In the Hwalgongseong battle, teams face off against opposing sides in an exciting competition using bows. For children, there are experiences such as suction-cup bows, making your own bow, air hover ball, and gong hitting, along with a bow playground with air bounces, rides, and sand and cypress play areas. The festival also runs a variety of performances including street characters and bubble shows, and a food zone, offering plenty to see and do for all ages.
