About the festival
*Festival food information for 2026 is being updated.* Gangneung Coffee Festival grew out of everyday memories of the coffee vending machines on Anmok Beach and the cafe and roasting culture built by coffee masters. Started in 2009, it has grown into a place that connects Gangneung's nature, daily culture and local commerce and captures the city's identity. Citizens, merchants, coffee professionals and visitors meet to enjoy coffee and share Gangneung's stories through humanities, art and local content. The festival is a living local cultural asset that conveys the region's history, people's tastes and community pride.
