About the festival

The 5th Busan Seo-gu Medical Tourism Festival takes place on October 16 and 17 at Songdo Ocean Park, co-organized by Seo-gu and Pusan National University Hospital, Dong-A University Hospital, Kosin University Gospel Hospital and Sahmyook Busan Hospital. It promotes Seo-gu, the first medical tourism special zone in the Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam region, lays the groundwork for attracting international patients through business meetings and buyer tours, and offers residents and visitors reliable health information and medical experiences. About 60 booths provide health checks, stress tests, herbal acupuncture and medication advice, a medical and healthcare industry pavilion with Busan Techno Park, wellness programs such as slow jogging, silent meditation yoga, CrossFit and jumping fitness, a kids’ doctor experience and air sports. A health talk concert, kids’ magic and balloon shows and giant board games are also offered. The opening ceremony is at 3 p.m. on the 16th with Ahn Sung-hoon, the Last Street Crew and pop flutist Seo Ga-bi.
