About the festival
The 13th Nakdonggang River Gupo Ferry Festival is a signature cultural tourism festival at beautiful Hwamyeong Eco Park, based on the history and culture of Gupo, once a leading ferry and logistics hub on the Nakdong River. Under the slogan “Connect, Play, Meet! Gupo Naru”, it runs for three days from October 16 to 18 with performances, exhibitions, activities and food for all ages: a re-created ferry landing, Gupo noodle platters and noodle making, eco and wellness programs and the Nakdong Book Fair, plus a song contest and open busking by residents. After dark, a night walk, a garden of light and the Starry Sea Busan Night Market let you enjoy autumn nights on the river.
