About the festival
The 30th Ganggyeong Salted Seafood Festival is a signature festival themed on the history and culture of Ganggyeong and its specialties, including salted seafood (jeotgal). It runs for four days from October 15 to 18, 2026 on the Geumgang Riverside in Ganggyeong-eup, Nonsan. Under the theme “Ganggyeong Jeotgal and Sangwol Sweet Potatoes, Finally the Best!”, it offers food, culture and activities centered on jeotgal and Sangwol sweet potatoes, including a global kimjang festa with Ganggyeong jeotgal, the Ganggyeong Port Market, performances, activities and local specialty sales.
